Visiba Triage
Medical Updates
In this release, we have continued to strengthen the medical foundation of Visiba Triage through improvements to modelling and triage specifications across several areas. These include IBD; abdominal pain and trauma; women’s health, including contraceptive methods and postmenopausal bleeding; and eyes, including contact lens-related symptoms and icterus. We have also added vaccines as a new presenting complaint and improved symptom matching for hot flushes.
Super Diagnoses
We have updated the presentation of differential diagnoses by grouping related diagnoses under a shared parent diagnosis with expandable subcategories. Clinicians can now click the arrow next to a diagnosis to expand or collapse the underlying subcategories and view more detailed probability information when needed. This creates a cleaner and more structured overview, reduces repetition in the diagnosis list, and makes it easier to quickly scan and interpret triage outcomes while still retaining access to detailed clinical information.
Pregnancy Warning Screen
To improve clarity around when Red Robin's contraindications, we have introduced a new pregnancy warning screen at the end of the flow. Similar to the warnings shown in emergency situations, this screen is displayed when a patient selects “pregnant”, “pregnancy”, or “suspected pregnancy” as their presenting complaint, or confirms an ongoing or likely pregnancy during the chat. The update is intended to provide clearer guidance to pregnant patients and support safer navigation to appropriate care.
Patient Evaluation Text Changes
We have also updated the patient evaluation flow to provide more context and encourage more meaningful feedback. Previously, patients were asked “How did you find the chat?”. This has now been replaced with “Rate your experience so far: You’ve answered questions about your symptoms. How was your experience?” to better reflect the patient journey and the interaction being evaluated.
