Tuesday, 1st June marks the time for a new update in Visiba Care. With this update, your patients will experience the most visible improvements, particularly when they book an appointment with you. Nevertheless, Visiba Care users overall will benefit from the always-on improvements and bug fixes.
Improved patient experience when booking an appointment
At times of high pressure and fast booking of the bookable time slots, e.g. with COVID-19 vaccination, users may feel frustrated if their booking is not advancing smoothly. To ensure that a patient can complete the initiated booking without risking another user snatching their slot, we now reserve the time slot for the person already at the first step in the booking flow. Once a person has clicked and selected a time, this time will no longer be visible to other applicants and the booking can be completed safely, in peace and quiet. If the person leaves the booking flow or is inactive for 20 minutes, the time will again be available to all applicants.
The app requires Android version 7.0 or later
To ensure that patients can use the app with the optimal functionality and security, we will now support the app from version 7.0 or later (from version 5.1 previously).
