During the fourth and final quarter of 2021, we will launch several new features and improvements in the Visiba Care platform. Patients will be able to delete their account in the app themselves and thus have better control over their own data, while healthcare professionals can more easily get an overview of all their appointments – even those that have been completed and cancelled.
Read more about the planned product updates during Q4 2021 below. Kindly note that launch times are preliminary and the appearance of the images below may differ from the final version. Keep an eye on the News in Visiba Care platform section of our Help Centre to stay updated with the most important changes taking place with every release.
Patients can delete their account in the app
In order for the patient to have even better control over their own data, we now make it possible for the patient to delete their user account from within the app. To ensure patient safety and ensure that all appointments can be recorded as planned, patient information will be stored in the platform in accordance with your data anonymisation settings.
New web interface for patients
Patients who log in to your virtual clinic via a web browser will be welcomed by a new, stylish and easy-to-navigate view as we rebuild the web interface from the ground up. The patient web will reflect how the app looks and works to a greater extent, which makes it easier for patients to find their way when switching between the app and web interfaces.
The new web interface will also be fully accessible-adepted, so that patients under the full spectrum of physical abilities easily can use it.
The update to the new patient web is planned to take place gradually, starting in Q4.
Cancelled and completed appointments are displayed under the list view in the calendar
All booked appointments will soon be gathered in the list view (formerly called My Appointments) in the calendar, regardless of whether they are upcoming, completed, or cancelled. By default, the appointments that are booked within the next month are displayed, but it is possible to filter the visits based on time period or status. This allows healthcare professionals, and those who schedule for a specific healthcare professional, to get a clearer overview and easily filter out, for example, upcoming appointments (just like today) or cancelled appointments.
New design for the video consultations
We are placing a greater focus on updating the consultation experience for our users. The first step in this initiative is the new and sleek design for video consultations, for healthcare professionals and patients alike. With this new design, functions will be even more accessible for use during the consultation and the performance will improve. In addition, there will be support to show all (maximum nine) participants simultaneously in a gallery view.
We plan to release the new design in April 2022. Before that, we will in good time share more detailed information, both about the release date and how the new video call will look and work.
