Visiba Triage is a tool for automated anamnesis and triage powered by Red Robin, a registered medical device that uses an AI model based on data and expert knowledge. By leveraging the power of AI, Red Robin mimics human decision-making to ensure safe and efficient access to healthcare. Red Robin is built on a probabilistic network and is continuously updated and improved by our medical team with feedback from real cases.
Automated anamnesis and triage tool
Red Robin helps to take anamnesis for patients seeking healthcare, or patients (for children from one year and up) whose representatives seek healthcare, digitally via app/computer. In the first step, the healthcare seeker describes their case in free text, and Red Robin then identifies symptoms to ask relevant follow-up questions about both symptoms and risk factors. After the patient has answered all the questions, Red Robin calculates the likelihood of various diagnoses. With Visiba Triage, there is also the possibility to guide the patient to an appropriate form of care depending on the configurations that have been set up, e.g., booking a video visit or a message conversation. Decision support
The healthcare provider can see a summary of the patient’s dialogue with Red Robin in a decision support tool, called Patient Summary in Visiba Triage. Here, any images or other files uploaded by the patient are also displayed, as well as potential differential diagnoses suggested by Red Robin based on the provided information. Note that these suggestions are only intended to highlight diagnoses that may be related to the patient’s symptoms, and it is the healthcare provider’s responsibility to investigate and diagnose the patient.
Example of decision support
After assessing the patient, the healthcare provider makes a diagnosis and can record the diagnosis and action taken after the visit in the tool. This information helps to improve Red Robin’s accuracy and makes the tool more reliable over time.
