Make sure you are well prepared before the meeting. When the patient has booked an appointment or answered a form, this information is gathered in a single view you can review before the appointment. Open the appointment booking from the calendar and click on the Patient Summary button.
Here you can see all the relevant information in a single view. The patient summary may include the patient's description of their case, attached pictures or files, and form responses. You can also see if the patient has other cases at any of the clinics you have access to.
If you want to get more information about the patient's other cases, click Show all cases. Then you see what status the case has, and what contact type they were associated with.
If you work in a clinic that has connected to Red Robin (Visiba's tool for automated patient history and triage), you will see a small Red Robin symbol next to the Patient Summary button.
In the patient summary, you will also be able to see information from the automated chat dialogue, i.e.:
- confirmed or denied symptoms and influencing factors
- how long the problem has lasted and whether it is recurring
- Potential differential diagnoses based on the outcome in Red Robin.
Note that the suggestions regarding potential differential diagnoses are only intended to draw attention to diagnoses that may be related to the patient's symptoms – it is the healthcare professional's responsibility to investigate and diagnose the patient.
