To receive a patient in drop-in, follow these steps:
- Click on Drop-in from the Healthcare menu to the top left to go to the drop-in overview. Here you can see all the patients waiting in the queue.
- Click on a patient to get more information. You can see the patient’s contact information, case, reason for contact, waiting room, and status. In this view, you can also see any attached form replies or images.
- You can also see if the patient has other cases at any of the clinics you have access to. If you want to get more information about the patient's other cases, click Show all cases. Then you see what status the case has, and what contact type they were associated with.
- When you are ready to receive the case, click on Call.
If you work within an organisation that is using Red Robin, Visiba's tool for automated patient history and triage, you can see that the cases that have been received via Red Robin have been awarded a priority for the degree of urgency based on the history provided by the patient. The priority is shown as a number in the right column and helps you quickly get an overview and recommendations for the order in which the messages should be read. The priority scale goes from priority 1 to priority 8. Note that the patient cannot see the recommended priority, the information is only visible to the care provider.
By clicking on the heading Priority, you can sort the cases from the maximum to the lowest priority for the degree of urgency, and if you click again, they appear in reverse order.
If you think the priority should be adjusted after taking in the information available in the patient summary, you can change it.
Note! Red Robin does not handle cases automatically but only provides recommendations that health care providers can use as decision support. The patient will thus not be able to be led to self-care.
