Yes, patients can use the service just as usual when they are abroad.
If your app is only available on the English market, the patient needs to have an English version of the App Store or Google play and be able to verify their identity when login in.
If the patient does not have an English version, they can update their location to be able to download the app. Click on the links below to read more about this:
How Android users change country
If you want to launch your app in a market other than the English one, contact your contact person at Visiba care.
There are also some things that are good to keep in mind if the patient is in a country with a different time zone than that of the clinic.
For a booked visit, the time specified in SMS and email notifications is based on the time zone of the clinic in Visiba Care - not the time zone of the patient's mobile phone.
Otherwise, the time indications in the app reflect the time zone that the patient has set on their phone. The patient's time zone then applies to:
- Push notifications in the app
- Information in My cases
- Messages
- Drop-in (both the time shown in the waiting room and the clinic's opening hours)
