This guide will help you:
- Find the subscribe option in Visiba Care.
- Automatically or manually add your calendar to Outlook, Google Calendar, or other calendar apps using a WebCal link.
Steps in Visiba Care
1. Access the Calendar in Visiba Care:
- Navigate to your calendar view in Visiba Care.
- Click on the three dots in the upper-right corner of the calendar section and choose Subscribe to calendar.
2. Subscribe to Your Calendar:
- A dialog will appear, giving you two options for subscribing to your calendar.
Option 1: Open in Calendar
- Click on the Open in calendar button.
- This will automatically open your calendar app, and you will be able to subscribe to your Visiba Care schedule. You will be prompted to choose which calendar you would like to use (e.g., Outlook).
Option 2: Copy Link
- Click on Copy link to manually add the calendar to your chosen application. Instructions for adding this link to Outlook, Google Calendar, and other applications are detailed below.
Adding to Outlook Calendar (Web Version)
For the easiest configuration, we recommend using the web version of Outlook to add your calendar.
1. Open Outlook in your web browser: Go to Outlook.com and sign in to your account.
2. Go to the menu on the left sidebar: Click on the Calendar option.
3. Add Calendar with WebCal Link:
- Click on Add Calendar from the toolbar at the top.
- Select Subscribe from Web.
- Paste the web link of the calendar you want to add in the specified field.
- Choose a name for the calendar and, optionally, select a colour to distinguish it.
4. Save Changes: Click on Import or Save. Your calendar will now appear under Other Calendars.
Adding to Google Calendar
1. Open Google Calendar: Navigate to Google Calendar and log in to your Google account.
2. Access Calendar Settings: On the left side, click on the + symbol next to Other calendars.
3. Add Calendar via WebCal Link:
- From the drop-down menu, select From URL.
- Paste the web link into the provided field.
4. Finish: Click Add Calendar. The calendar will now appear under Other Calendars and automatically update as events are added or changed.
Adding to Other Calendar Applications
For other calendar applications, the steps are usually similar. Find the option to Add Calendar or Subscribe to Calendar. Once found:
1. Look for a field that allows you to enter a web link for the calendar.
2. Paste the link into the field.
3. Save your changes. Your calendar should now be visible and update automatically with new events.
Most modern calendar applications support adding calendars via a web link, so this method should work across various platforms. If you encounter difficulties, check the help centre for your specific calendar app for further instructions.
