Visiba Triage
Medical Updates
We have strengthened the medical foundation of Visiba Triage to support safer and more precise assessments. The focus for this release has been women's health and touched on several existing diagnoses and symptoms.
- New diagnosis: Miscarriage
- New presenting complaints: suspected pregnancy, barking cough.
- New symptoms: sexually active, pregnancy likelihood, time-since-last-period, and menstruation status (started, still getting, stopped)
- Improved modelling and triage specs for: vaginal bleeding, ectopic pregnancy, seizures, paronychia, bowel ischaemia, difficulty balancing/coordination, and better localisation for tingling and numbness.
- Improved naming conventions for itchy eye(s) and urination symptoms.
These changes enhance the depth and accuracy of triage by expanding diagnostic coverage, refining symptom capture, and improving how complex and time-sensitive conditions are assessed.
Enhancements to number and relevance of chat questions
In Visiba Triage, once patients have select their symptoms, they enter a chat where follow-up questions are asked based on those symptoms and answers. These are then used to determine the urgency and suggest possible differential diagnoses. With this update, patients are guided through fewer, more relevant questions, making the experience smoother while supporting better performance.

Access to colleagues ongoing and historical messaging cases
To meet the need for greater transparency in messaging cases, we have developed the capabilities for both the messaging history and the overview.
The messaging overview, where only administrators previously could see all ongoing cases for each clinic separately, will be expanded in two ways:
The messaging overview will now be accessible not only to administrators but also to healthcare providers and schedulers.
The overview will now include all cases in clinics where the user has access and will instead be controlled by filters if you want to see cases only from a specific clinic.
The history will be moved from a personal level to a clinic level so that all healthcare providers and schedulers will be able to access all closed messaging cases in the clinics they have access to.

Cancel appointments for your colleagues at other clinics
Schedulers can now cancel all appointments in a colleague’s calendar, even if they are not schedulers at the clinic where the appointments were originally booked.
This makes it easier to support colleagues who are unable to attend work, ensuring their appointments can be handled quickly and efficiently.
See your colleagues’ availability status
You can now view the availability status of your colleagues, helping you coordinate tasks and collaborate more smoothly. You can also set your own status as online or show as offline, making it easier for others to know when you’re available. Your default status will be set to show as offline until you decide to change it to online.

Coming up from Visiba
Enhancements to Care Navigation. We're exploring additional actions for Care Navigation such as automated messages based on specific conditions; for example a specific urgency, diagnosis, presenting complaint, or administrative case. This would allow clinics to send more specific information to a patient as a way to prepare them for an appointment, or guide them in their next steps.
We’re also soon introducing functionality that will allow patients to reschedule their booked appointments.
