There are four different roles for Visiba Care users, with different permissions and access to different views and data.
A user with the healthcare professional role has access to communicate with patients via video consultation (booked or drop-in) and messages.
A scheduler can work with planning and manage administrative tasks for healthcare
through the function Schedule for. Schedulers have access to patient data for all bookings at the clinic(s) they work at.An administrator, sometimes found as local administrator, manages patient pathways and configurations for a specific clinic, including user permissions and roles. The administrator does not have access to patient data, except for the payment statistics report.
Users with the global administrator user access manage the default settings applying to all clinics within an organisation and assign administrator rights to each clinic. A global administrator does not have access to patient data other than the payment statistics report, which contains information about the patient's identity, the responsible healthcare
, and the clinic the appointment/message conversation is linked to. Please note that the global administrator privilege only exists if you work with multiple clinics.
Please note that the user's professional role within the organisation does not necessarily reflect the role assigned to them in the Visiba Care platform. A user is also not limited to one role, as it is possible to combine different roles, such as healthcare
+ scheduler or global + local administrator. For example, a Care Assistant needs to have the healthcare role to be able to send messages to a patient when planning for an appointment. Healthcare who want to have the option to book or reassign cases to a colleague may, in turn, need to have the scheduler role in parallel. Each user permission is attached to a specific clinic, with the exception of the global administrator, who has access to all clinics.
The table below provides a detailed overview of permissions/access views for each role.
