Right now, we are working intensively to make it even smoother and safer to work with messages. Clinics will be able to enable auto-replies so patients receive immediate confirmation that their message has been received. The auto-replies can be customised depending on whether the message comes in within or outside monitored hours, so the patient knows when to expect a response. This creates security and prevents patients from seeking care in several channels, which can lead to unnecessary duplication of work.
Patients can also look forward to an updated view for messages in the apps, which mirrors the view in the web interface. This is a step in our ongoing work with patients to face the same view and design regardless of whether they visit the clinic via an app or the web interface on the computer.
